In Gragnano, producing pasta is an art, a heritage of history, culture, traditions and secrets.

Gragnano pasta is a small miracle that began 500 years ago, when the inhabitants discovered they could exploit the particular microclimate of the town to dry pasta. In fact, in the 19th century, the town's architecture was redesigned so that sunlight reached the macaroni left to dry at any time. The other peculiarity of this special territory lies in the presence of the sources of the Lattari Mountains, which are also precious for the functioning of the mills. From these mountains flows a unique water, low in limestone, which gives an unmistakable flavor to the pasta.

Production does the rest. A craftsmanship handed down from generation to generation. Gragnano Pasta is produced with durum wheat semolina and dried slowly at low temperature: for this reason it remains elastic and does not break during cooking. Bronze drawing is another feature that makes it unique: the resulting wrinkled surface is perfect for holding any seasoning. And for this reason even the smooth formats behave perfectly with all sauces.

Thanks to these peculiarities linked to the territory and production, already in the 19th century white gold (as the people of Gragnano call pasta) became the main industry of the town, known throughout Italy. Democratic food par excellence, it was served on the table of the nobles of the Kingdom of Italy, but it was also the staple food of macaroni eaters in the lower Neapolitan area. An excellent product, known and exported all over the world, Pasta di Gragnano obtained PGI certification at European level in 2013: the right recognition of a centuries-old artisan tradition.

Every single format represents a work of art, the absolute protagonist of the table, showing itself as an authentic "author's nude"!

These gift ideas represent a completely new and original way of conceiving gifts, of great value and different from the usual! From the terracotta line to the glass one, there are numerous gift packages that express a true culinary emotion for those who give and those who receive this little treasure.
